Why believe the negative?

Ever wondered why people believe the negative sooner than positive? It has always been the case, but ever thought of why? Why do people believe in the negative so readily and when you tell them the truth they take it as fluff? Why?

Suppose your friend reads your mail to another girl. She will instantly think of you having an affair. Why does this happen? Why are we more inclined towards believing the negative, the world over? We will not ask the person who she was. We will just keep this in our heart and break off from him. Why? Why did we believe the email sent from the same person when we are not prepared to believe the words the same person is speaking from his own mouth?

Same is with online life experience degrees. When we read something negative about them, we will believe instantly. Why? Why do we believe that? And then, when we read something which counters that, we would NOT believe it. Why do we behave like this?

There is so much bad press about online life experience degrees. People believe it. Why? Do they know the reality? Do they know for sure that what is mentioned in the press is the reality? Then why, on what grounds do we believe the bad press surrounding life experience degrees?

We have no reason to actually believe what all is thrown at us, have we? Then why do we just gobble everything up so easily? Why can't we ridicule negativity? We always believe the negative very easily. Why can't we resist the temptation?
