7 reasons to work from home

What are the best bonuses of working from home? There are several reasons that add to the experience apart from the obvious one of spending more time with your family and earning money.

1. Chose your own hours of work.

Whether you prefer to do one long stint of work to get it over and done with or a little bit here and a little bit there it is no ones decision but yours.

2. Take a day off whenever you choose.

If like me you've ever being refused a day off that you really need just because there are other members of staff off work you will understand why this is a nice bonus.

3. Feel like a adult.

At times I felt in my last job we where treated like school children, constantly monitored and told to "get a move on" if we even dared to talk to another member of staff. At home if you want to talk or go to the toilet you can do so without the fear of reprimand.

4. Wear what you like.

No uptight suit, no uncomfortable overalls and no daft looking uniforms. Wear whatever you feel most comfortable in or wear nothing at all if your that way inclined.

5. Put in the effort you want.

Feel like a lazy day no worries, although it's probably best not to have a lazy day everyday. We all have days where we can't be bothered but if you don't want the full day off at least what work you do can be done at your own leisurely pace without any fear of a telling off the next day.

6. It's all for you.

Ever feel like your working your hands to the bone just to line someone else's pockets. Now if you put in the hard work the rewards will be all yours.

7. No favoritism.

Nearly all companies have mugs like you and me doing all the work while a favorite of the boss gets away with doing very little for the same pay, you will never feel that frustration working from home.

There are other advantages to working from home but these are just some of the more light hearted pluses, but being light hearted doesn't mean they aren't important things to take into consideration when thinking of working from home.
